Caden's Afghan

I finished Caden's baby afghan on Sunday night. Caden is Renee's baby boy who was born right before President's Day. Excellent timing on his part. He will always have a 3-day weekend to celebrate his birthday. The afghan is knit in Plymouth Encore Color #1033 and Colorspun #7129. I didn't want a baby-ish pale blue or green, but hopefully this isn't too dark for a newborn. The afghan was easy and fast to knit using double strands on large needles. If you want the pattern, I would love to share it with you. Just ask.

Thanks for the compliment on my site. I like your site and your work. I am a techno newbie and am trying to improve and tweak my blog.
My lace knitting is new as I used to get into trouble with it (still do) If you want to start pick an all over pattern such as triangles - like my shawl or horseshoe - the blue set. One hint though is to always purl back as it is easy to get confused if you knit the wrong side.
